Description

200km cycling event starting from Cardiff Cycle Workshop, Cardiff CF14 3AY. Controls at Usk, The Nag's Head, Llangorse Lake Cafe, Welsh Rarebit Centre, Defynnog and Cardiff Cycle Workshop., plus 4 information controls.

A tour of South Wales taking in Newport's historic Transporter Bridge, Llangorse Lake, fine views of the Brecon Beacons, the classic climb of the Devil's Elbow with a flat run back to the finish.

Through Wentloog Levels to Newport, past the Transporter Bridge. Follow the River Usk to Llangynidr, then over to Llangorse Lake, on to Sennybridge then up the Devil's Elbow and down the Cynon and Taff valleys to the finish.
Cafes at Usk (61k), Llangorse Lake (103k), Defynnog (133k) plus 3 Info controls. Free parking at start .
