Description

100km cycling event starting from Fornham All Saints, Suffolk. Controls at Brent Eleigh, Long Melford and Arrivee Fornham All Saints., plus 2 information controls.

This event has a mandatory route - you should follow the route instructions as closely as possible.

An undulating &a scenic ride of 111km around Suffolk to show its beauty and to prove it is not flat. Over 1000m of elevation taking in several hill climbs, several of which are short but over 10%.

The route takes in the well known and sublime villages of Lavenham, Kersey, Long Melford, with a start/finish at Fornham All Saints Community centre on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. The 2 main fords are lovely, but are easily bypassed on dry land to the side.
