Description

401km cycling event starting from Chepstow. Controls at Hay On Wye, Tregaron, New Quay, Llangattock and Chepstow., plus 2 information controls.

The longest established Clasic Welsh brevet, traversing Wales West then East.

Good commercial controls used as far as 296km.

Rest control (VILLAGE HALL) with free hot food at 341km.

Probably the longest running 400 currently on the calendar.

An iconic venture through the prettiest parts of Wales.

For 2025 the following new features will be on offer.

1. Village Hall start in Chepstow - Free refreshments prior to start.

2. Village Hall at 341km will have sleeping/resting facilities for those that need it - (Mats on Floor).

3. LIVE TRACKING will be tested on this event to help LEL 2025 with testing out the equipment.

NON-MEMBERS are welcome but need to register first. This is free - we ask you to do this so we can verify your contact details. You only need to register once and can then enter multiple events or in future convert to paid membership.

PARENTAL CONSENT is required for entrants under 18 years of age. This can be declared by the parent/guardian making an online entry on behalf of the under 18 rider.
