Description

106km cycling event starting from Upton Magna, Shrewsbury. Controls at Whixall Marina and Upton Magna., plus 3 information controls.

Flat or undulating with one short and easy climb this is the ideal first Audax or early season target.

Starting at Upton Magna Village Hall (near Shrewsbury, Shropshire) with free parking and light refreshments available.

The route heads north west through Baschurch to Welsh Frankton before turning for Ellesmere and the lovely café stop at Whixall Marina.

The return leg ambles across the North Shropshire Plain, through the villages of Tilstock, Tibberton and High Ercall.
