Description

1402km cycling event starting from Land's End, Cornwall. Controls at St.Stephen (Cornwall), Moretonhampstead (Devon), Cullompton (Devon), Oakhill (Somerset), Hereford (Herefordshire), Market Drayton (Shropshire), Abram (Greater Manchester), Carnforth (Lancashire), Gretna Green (Dumfries & Galloway), Abington (South Lanarkshire), Clarkston (Renfrewshire), Tyndrum (Highland), Fort William (Highland), Kirkhill (Highland) and John O' Groats (Highland).

Entries now being taken on a FIRST COME - FIRST SERVED BASIS!

LEJOG at randonneur standard. Route doesn't follow the most direct route between the start & finish whilst passing through England; Wales & Scotland! Riders will be expected to maintain a minimum cycling average speed of 12kph including anytime off the bike. Controls will be placed at roughly 50-mile intervals but 4 of the controls, which we hope riders will use overnight, will have adequate shower & sleeping facilities. Drop bag to 3 of the overnight controls will help ensure everyone makes it through this randonnee. No qualification required! Each and every rider will need to make their own way to the start at Land's End and home from John o' Groats afterwards. More information on the event website below!

NON-MEMBERS are welcome but need to register first. This is free - we ask you to do this so we can verify your contact details. You only need to register once and can then enter multiple events or in future convert to paid membership.

PARENTAL CONSENT is required for entrants under 18 years of age. This can be declared by the parent/guardian making an online entry on behalf of the under 18 rider. Otherwise, although an entry can be made online, the parent/guardian should complete and sign the parental consent form available here.
