Description

An autumn audax to the Cotswolds from briney Droitwich. A great way to see the Cotswolds in their for autumnal glory. Flattish start and finish with a hilly middle. E Brevet available.
We had an excellent run of good weather for this event. Let's hope it continues. In mid_November, there will be fewer tourists cluttering the lanes of the Cotswolds, so enjoy the peace. The first section is an easy trundle to Tewkesbury before swinging into the Cotswolds via the assault up Suddeley Bank. After which is ups and downs via Witney. The return section from Shipston is not too challenging. This event has become an institution in the local cycling scene and attracts audaxers from afar too.

There are plenty of cafe stop opportunities on route. Cafe start from Little Al's at the Lido and a nearby hall finish with hot soup, etc.
