Description

200km cycling event starting from McDonalds Eskbank, Dalkeith and finishing in the Cross Border Brewery, Eskbank. Controls at West Linton, Tushielaw, Clovenfords., plus four information controls.
The Dave Harris Memorial Ride returns after a ten-year absence. It is a challenging ride with climbs over Talla, Berry Bush, Witchie Knowe, Paddy Slacks, the Coach Road and the Granites then going downhill to finish.

Eskbank start/finish has a train station and ample parking. A feed station will be provided at Tushielaw but shops are available at West Linton, Broughton and Innerleithen. The finish will be at the Cross Borders Brewing Tap at Hardengreen.

This is a great tour of the Scottish Borders hills with spectacular views and ideal for the end of season.

Entry fee includes food at the Control at Tushielaw and the Cross Border Brewery at the end, plus a couple of bottles of their best brew.
