Description

Paris and Moscow, West Yorkshire, that is, both passed on this loop through the green belt surrounding the West Yorkshire industrial belt. Possible cafe stops in the first half then excellent refreshments at the end.
Hilly outward leg heads through 'Summer Wine' country and the Pennine foothills to the UNESCO heritage village of Saltaire. Then turn eastwards, eventually reaching flatter country south of York, before the South Yorkshire ridges provide a sting in the tail.
