Description
An East Midlands loop taking in some of the hills and vales of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, mainly following lanes and quiet country roads, with the added bonus of riding past 10 Downing Street!Route heads out across Beeley Moor and along the ridge road towards Crich, south-east to Long Eaton and over the River Trent, then through the Vale of Belvoir for a view of the Duke of Rutland's imposing castle. Return north through the fields and woods to see how the hoi polloi live in the former coalfield towns and villages of D.H. Lawrence country.
