Description

A new event for 2025.
Aimed at riders who don't want to ride the longer events on offer on the same day. This event is an ideal introduction to audax riding if you're wanting to dip a toe and learn all about controls and brevet cards etc.
The event starts with free refreshments at Duddon Village Hall. From here we head to Waverton and then to Aldford. Continuing to head south we pass through Stretton and then get to Tilston with the preferred option to stop and have tea and cake at The Lost Barn Coffee shop. Suitably refueled for the hillier return leg we pick up the Tour of the Berwyns route back to base. There are a few lumps to get over in the second half so don't feel guilty about having lots of cake! Just take each uphill at your own pace and soon you will be zooming down the other side, taking your time to enjoy some pretty fine Cheshire lanes with close up views of Beeston Castle. Soon enough you will be back at the HQ where a warm welcome and free refreshments await.
