Description

Permanent version of the Venetian Nights calendar event. Start at any point round the circuit. Controls at Broken Cross nr Macclesfield, Bunbury, Tittesworth Water, Flash Bar, Matlock, Wirksworth and Broken Cross. 100km on the Cheshire plain followed by 100km in the Peak Hills. Some slight deviations from the calendar event and a little more climbing, but you get to visit Flash( the highest village in Britain at 1518ft), so well worth it!

This is, in parts, an arduous ride over hilly, and exposed terrain. There are steep climbs and descents with some rough surfaces, please moderate your speed appropriately. You should study the route before setting out. You should carry food and drink, basic spares and tools, adequate clothing and lights.

The control locations pinned on the map top right, are the exact locations of the E-Brevet controls and your phone app will work within 250m of those pinned locations. Food and drink are also available at these locations. They are also described in the route sheet, which can be downloaded below.
