608km cycling event starting from Padiham, Lancashire. Controls at Carnforth, Carlisle, Moniaive, Ayr, Moniaive, Carlisle, Carnforth and Padiham.

A 600 km Audax from the Burnley district to Ayr and back again - in a little more than a day! n.b. ** This event has been cancelled for this year! **

Straight out and back route! Start with a night-ride up the A6 to Carlisle, ride through southern Scotland during the day, then ride down the A6 at night. Many commercial facilities, petrol stations and hotels along the route. Not too hilly but not pancake flat either. Just the 2 major hills (Trough of Bowland & Shap Fell) to ride over in both directions. Village hall arranged at 240 km & at 368 km for food/sleep options.
