A scenic high level route around the North Pennines. Good options for café/food stops at controls and a few other places along the route if needed.

The North Pennines is a distinctive landscape of high moorland and broad upland dales in the North of England. It is one of the most remote and unspoilt places in England. The route goes across Alston Moor, Yad Moss, Middleton/Bollihope Common and Rookhope Head before descending the Allen Valley to return to Ponteland. Entries for this event are limited and may close before the closing date. If entries are not full at the closing date there may only be a limited number of late entries available if any.
