The Petworth Start of SummerTime 100

Description

111km cycling event starting from Pound Street Car Park, Petworth, W Sussex. Controls at Petworth, Hampers Green Community Centre, Petworth, Hampers Green Community Centre and Petworth, Hampers Green Community Centre., plus 5 information controls.

The Start of Summer Time 111k ride consisting of three loops centred on Hampers Green Community Centre, Petworth.

No entries on the line. Ideal for those wishing for a swift morning run & for those who would like to take until nearly 16:30. If you wish to ride a 200k or more this event makes the ideal one to ECE and then you have complete control over the roads you use for the extra Kms. COVID 19 - Please ensure that you can conform to the AUDAX Behaviour Code (https://audax.uk/media/2181/england-behaviour-code.pdf) and only attend this event if NOT showing symptoms, isolating or quarantining yourself or household members.

Only register your finish time and leave cards for later validation which will be posted back. There will be a staggered start of 6 riders every 10 minutes from the free Pound Street Car Park (behind Co-Op Store), but car drivers MUST obtain a parking ticket from the machine that I will keep disinfecting!
Riders are asked to arrive 5 minutes before their allocated start time and be ready to go. If you arrive early, PLEASE remain away from organiser and other riders. If you miss your time, then you will wait until a free slot appears.
Registration will be away from the entrance / exit at the far end of the carpark unlike previous years.
Two limited socially distanced feeds on route in the usual VILLAGE HALL.

NON-MEMBERS are welcome but need to register first. This is free - we ask you to do this so we can verify your contact details. You only need to register once and can then enter multiple events or in future convert to paid membership.

PARENTAL CONSENT is required for entrants under 18 years of age. This can be declared by the parent/guardian making an online entry on behalf of the under 18 rider. Otherwise, although an entry can be made online, the parent/guardian should complete and sign the parental consent form available here.
