111km cycling event starting from Girton, Cambridge. Controls at Girton, Cambridge., plus 2 information controls.

An easy-going 100km spring ride to a couple of pubs and maybe a couple of others for coffee. Or tea. If you don't feel up to the full 200km Pork Pie then this is the ride for you.

The route has a flat start to a couple of leg-warming climbs to the first info control in Meesden. You then head along winding lanes with wide-open views to the historic town of Saffron Walden where there are plenty of hostelries of all kinds to divert you. Passing through you continue to Withersfield for the second info control, with the option of pub stop at The White Horse Inn. Then it's an up-and-over back to Cambridge, including an 8km descent from Balsham to Fulbourn. Cambridge is 50 minutes from London by train and most East Anglia rail services also pass this way.
