X-rated 200k event from Edinburgh (Currie). Controls at Carnwath, Strathaven, Eaglesham, Carnwath plus 4 info controls. Postal Finish.

'SBR-North' presents the first of a series of new events from the Edinburgh area. Fairly basic 200k from the western outskirts Edinburgh, taking in the Lang Whang before some short, stiff climbs around Lanark then a blast down the friendlier section of the A71 and into East Ayrshire. Cross the Volga and onwards to Moscow (97k, info). Return via Eaglesham Moor, with good views of the Central Belt then the reverse of the above from Strathaven. Currently X-rated with postal finish but looking into community centre for finish depending on numbers and Covid rules. Free long-term parking at Hermiston P&R (~2k ride away from start / finish).
