Final Welcome Letter, Route sheet and GPX track will be available the week before the event following final checking.

Start at the Cocking Village Hall, Cocking, near Midhurst. Two feeds on route at Cocking Village Hall and again at the finish.

Stage 1 (54k) leaving the Start Control you head East on roads used on many of my calendar and perm events. Passing through Coates we are soon arriving in Fittleworth before the climb and twisty descent of Bedham hill. To keep the ride not too over distant, we make use of the A272 towards Billingshurst before heading North on the A29 to Five Oaks. From Five Oaks we head via Broadbridge Heath into and beyond the North of Horsham before the long drag up to the Pease Pottage Services for our first CONTROL.

Stage 2 (59k) retracing from Pease Pottage back into the centre and South of Horsham. Soon we are on country lanes passing through Coolham before arriving in Storrington for an INFO. Shortly we pass through Gresham and Coldwaltham before joining the route of Stage 1 at Fittleworth but continuing to Cocking to CONTROL.

Stage 3 (30k) is an interlude that provide a small loop that gives some climbing of the South Downs. Heading South from Cocking we are soon back on country lanes after West Dean and heading towards Chilgrove and its INFO. A bit of a climb now towards South Harting, but at the top we turn North and descent off the downs. Earlier in the day riders on the Midsummer Sussex Corker will have been coming the other direction. Once at the outskirts of South Harting we turn East and head back to Cocking CONTROL.

Stage 4 (61k), leaving the Cocking control we retrace back towards South Harting, but to ensure minimum distance is achieved there is a slight detour for an INFO in Elsted, but we continue through South Harting and into Petersfield. After navigating our way through Petersfield, we are again climbing (Bell Hill) through Steep before a long descent and heading towards Ropley and the final INFO. From Ropley we turn for home, and naturally another climb towards Froxfield before we arrive in Petersfield and retrace our outward route back to the Cocking CONTROL.
